Holy cow, there are listings of literally dozens of craft shows in all the local community papers -- including the Mother of All craft shows, "Circle Craft"! www.circlecraft.net/page278.htm
If you haven't been to Circle Craft, you simply must go. There are an incredible number of amazing artists there -- not simply casual hobbyists, but *serious* talented artisans who devote their lives to making beautiful things.
Anyone recommend any other craft shows? I'm looking for hip, innovative, unusual stuff.

It's going to be Sunday December 4th
from 12-5pm.
on Granville Island (1414 Cartwright Ave. ~ the Carousel theatre space beside Granville Island Brewery)
Local artisans will be displaying their passion and heart at this gathering of the season. Come by to see unique, handcrafted gift ideas and some things you may not expect. There will also be a small lounge to enjoy a hot beverage and some holiday baking.
