I'm just trying photo-emulsion silk screening for the first time.
I know that the emulsion is UV-sensitive, soI have 2 questions:
1) Can I work under regular room lighting to prep my screen? or does it have to be done in the dark or with a darkroom light?
2) What kind of UV light is both most effective and the cheapest for a casual/beginner silkscreener like me?

Re: silkscreening
04/23Maybe you should ask your question in the screen printing tribe.. screenprinting.tribe.net
They're pretty knowledgeable over there. Although props to you for bringing my attention back to this tribe. =) -

Thanks for reminding me...I learned to silkscreen at Blim!
Maybe I should just e-mail Yuriko and ask her some details directly.
