Hi... I want to have a special gift made for a friend, and am wondering if anyone out there knows of an artist who works in leather... thinking specifically of having a custom bracelet made -- and no, not the BDSM or goth kinds. He's pretty conservative and that's not the meaning I'm going for behind the gift. Any advice/suggestions are appreciated! Thanks.

Re: looking for leather artist
Thu, July 26, 2007 - 2:41 PMI have seen some different leather crafts at the Circle Craft show. I checked that out, and came up with this:
www.circlecraft.net/page350.htm#leather
From that, I found this:
www.sunburstcrafts.com/
^I noticed they do some custom work too.
and
www3.telus.net/indiansumm...r/index.htm
^seems to be mostly bags
I hope that helps.

Fri, August 17, 2007 - 12:56 AMIf you are in Van you might want to check out David's Leather shop on West 4th Ave just a few doors east of the Naam. He doesn't do anything very fancy but I found him most helpful in creating exactly what was in my mind's eye. -

Thu, September 6, 2007 - 10:11 PMCheck out radcow.etsy.com - Iris does beautiful work, and I've had a couple lovely custom belts made for myself, in colours that I stole from her awesome cuffs :)
X.
